Materials:

7 oz (200 grams) of butter
3/4 cup of sugar
1 egg
2.5 cups of flour
Candy (m&m or any other to decorate your cookies)
A bar of Chocolate
Baking sheet/paper
A ribbon

Tools:

A rolling pin
A cookie cutter (shaped as a girl/boy) you can also use a cutter to shape the cookie as girls and boys.
A Knife
A baking tray

How to make the dough

1. Take the melted butter, one egg, 3/4 of sugar, 2.5 cups of flour and mix them together.
2. If you wish to give the dough a brown color just add 2 spoons of coco instead of 2 spoons of flour.
3. After you have mixed all the ingredients together check if the dough is not too 'soft' or 'runny'. Add flour if necessary.
4. Put the dough in the fridge for 10 minutes so it hardens.

Instrction:


1. Sprinkle flour on the table and on the rolling pin and roll the dough out so it will be about 0.2 inch thick.		2. Using the cookie cutter cut out the shape of the cookies. Repeat this by the number of kids you have in your family.


3. Take out the excess dough so all that is left are just the shapes of kids you had.		4. Make a hole at the top of each cookie (so you can put the ribbon through it).


5. Place the cookies on the baking paper in the baking tray and put it in the oven for 15 minutes for medium heat 11.25 degrees Fahrenheit or 170 degrees Celsius.		6. Once the cookies are ready let them cool down a bit in the baking tray. If you take them out while they are worm they will crumble. After you take the cookies out decorate them with candy. Use the melted chocolate to stick the candy on to the cookies.


7. After the candy is stuck to the cookies and dried up, put the ribbon through the hole in the cookie. Check you have the right number of kids (not to offend anyone)		8. Here is what it looks like at the end. Now you have two choices – either hang the cookies up as Christmas ornaments or give it to your mom as a necklace. The end is the same – munch away the cookies.
